Kona coffee not grown in Kona?

I'm hoping to grow plants that eventually pay for themselves with the fruit; so I like to avoid too high of costs for keeping them alive, I've never grown anything tropical but I'm excited by the prospect of the coffee plant because it doesn't need full sun so that seems good for indoors (perhaps with a few grow lights to supplement the lackluster sunlight from the window). As far as keeping them humid, does misting down the leaves with a spray bottle help? I'd prefer not to constantly be running a humidifier if possible. p.s. I'm in Michigan, so I don't know if it's recommend to grow tropical plants like this indoors.

I was surprise to see you here. I didn't know about this channel but I like it. I have 2 coffee plants in my outside raised bed which it's perfect because it could grow their roots as much as it wants. These were grown by seeds that friend gave me. I also did cuttings. They are easy to grow here. It has 2 1/2 years old. Can't wait to see flowers on it. Loved and Subbed. Great video.

You don't need any fancy fertilizers, the farmers in Central America don't use it and turns out just fine. You can use natural/organic matter that will supplement your weak soil. Do a little research and make your own, its easier and cheaper.
