Can he visit first time for two months then go back to INDIA for one month and can come back for another two months before end of his entry date. It will be around 120 days all together. Is it possible /legal -
Thank you so much for your advice about getting Schengen visa, and I got everything you said, but there is a thing I'm still wondering about is that I am a student, so what do I need instead of need documents as an employee? And I'm living in Cambodia.
Thanks in advance. -
It all just sounds like one more money-making scam and red-tape to control the movements of people and charge then for yet more paperwork processing to get more of their money. It stinks! What's next? Passports and visas for birds flying south?

Not everyone will have the same process when traveling. My husband is in process of acquiring a Schengen visa. It is mandatory for citizens of his country. I am a U.S. citizen (so can enter Schengen countries with only a passport). He is a permanent resident with a green card but must get this visa to enter Schengen countries like Spain, France, Italy. I got a list of countries required to have this visa at the Spanish consulate website. Some countries are also required Airport Transit Visas.

Then you haven't read the 1st page of the British Passport. It disagrees with you on your point.

No. Many countries have restrictions as to what countries citizens are allowed to enter with just a passport. If you want to travel to another country and your country is not allowed to enter without a visa you will not be allowed to enter with just your passport. A passport is just proof of identification, it does not grant you permission to go wherever you want.

What's the point of this visa if you have a passport? Wouldn't a passport be all you need?
