Basically what he says your options are one of the following: 1. Manually remove each grub (takes hours to do). 2. "Milky spore", bacteria that eats (certain types, not all) grubs in your soil. 3. Beneficial nematoads (sp?).

a trick my dad uses tooth picks laugh but it works put 3 tooth pics stated straight down in soil around trunk base and the grubs won't bother them any more we learn from a old guy and never g sad a issue for years

Arent bats eating grubs? i mean the adult flying grubs? we used to have invasion of these , and also had these beetles variety in a size of an egg.. they were present up to some point until bats started housing in our area.

Well , nature is doing what it should. The author broke his rules...too much rotting organic material in the soil. Very simple. Now of course he got da grubs. Reduce the organics to what nature might normally have.
