I am Kenyan. I want to order your book, Dead Aid. But all your order links are for western nations i.e. US, UK, CA and FR. Please add an order link for Kenya. And Zambia. And several more African countries. Thank you>

What a mind?!

Up up up Moyo..

Farm subsidies have to do with security not economics. You don't want to have to rely on other nations for something as basic as food. And you can't just whip up a couple hundred million people's worth of farm resources overnight if your country suddenly loses access to food.
There is nothing stopping African countries from developing their own farming infrastructure to feed their own people! Except corruption and incompetence. -
Mr. Arrogant can be nice to a libertarian if she is a smart, good looking woman.
-
Uh, the reason we have a massive military is so we can protect our access to resources.
-
i love this woman................she inspires me much........ and she rights the way western countries treat africa with foreign aid is just unright.
-
she's right on about the egyptian "arab spring". that was about living standards/jobs,not for some bearded apes who wanted to destroy their tourist economy by turning the place into another iran or pakistan.
what really aggravated them was food commodity price spikes caused by the al gorites in the west taking corn off the market for making synthetic fuel.
we need practical thinkers like her and not a bunch of victimhood whining socialists in the UN crying about what happened 200 years ago. -
Economists love the word fundamentally. But cant deny it, she is a great economist
-
yeah I counted, she says it 7 times! haha!
-
I quite disagree. Compare the attitude of someone like, say Tyra Banks in her show and this lady. There's something called humility and politeness that's CLEARLY more evident in women who are brought up in Africa.
-
I completely agree. African women from Africa, NOT USA look very beautiful, inside and outside.
-
This is why I am moving to Africa or Asia hell even Europe... wasteland can you say (Yoda) lol
-
You have our moral support, Dambisa, we're behind you 100%. I hope you never feel that you have to bear it alone. :) Many of us agree with you, but we don't have the podium to speak.

Bill Gates is part of the joke called Aid to Africa...we don't care about his opinion
