My uncle was a farmer from Nephi, Utah. His name was Barres Jenkins. He also was the Mayor in the 80's. He owned Jenkins sales and service too. Farmers don't get vacations. They are the hardest workers I know. It's a good way to keep kids out of trouble too. However, I hope they have other things they get to do besides school and farm. I do know it leaves the kids wanting to run and not farm if you don't let them enjoy other things too. You look like a very wonderfully hard, loving family.
