Interesting.
Are the small fruits and flowers also edible?
Which parts are most potent?
Which growing conditions boosts the health promoting ingredients?
Is it considered an invasive species anywhere perhaps? -
Mr. Hollis, may I ask if I could use this as a decorative for some trees as well?
I was thinking of using it as a decorative for a few trees, to naturalize it in my native woods and to grow as a tea making plant. -
I started using gynostemma & rhodiola last year. hard to explain what these adaptogens do to your body. All I can say is that these plants are amazing medicines.

Great educational vide!...Thank you. i wanted to ask you a ? i was at a local tea & herb house (called Bird Pick). i had a couple of Yerba Mate drinks...one with Gynostemma and a shot of concentrated Gynostemma. It was the 1st time i've ever had it. The ? is coming up...a great calm came over me & i was very focussed...but the lights in the place and even at far distances became brighter. When i left and went on the freeway...the lights of the cars and signs were very bright. i also had a an enhanced sense of smell. Is this normal or have you ever heard of anything like this before? Henry
