how long does it take for the chamomile plant to mature? I bought a plant, and it doesnt seem like its growing.

Our chamomile plant has one stem that's standing above and beyond the rest with what looks like a seed/flower starting. The rest of it is all bunched up laying down and looks as if it's drying out and dying. I don't understand because it gets plenty water and lots of sun. Anybody have any advice?

Chamomile is known as the "doctor plant". A lot of people like to make chamomile tea and pour it on weak plants or plants that are a bit ill. Others like to plant chamomile around many of their vegetables as a constant doctor for them. Chamomile increases oil production in herbs too when planted near them. Accumulates calcium, potassium and sulfur, later returning them to the soil.
