This video introduces "temomi" performance of Japanese green tea produced in Sayama, Saitama, Japan. Temomi means hand rolling and the whole process is done by the hands of temomi artisans of Sayama green tea. Centuries ago, all of green tea was made by hand rolling in Japan, but it has been replaced into machines nowadays. As it takes 6 hours to complete the whole process, the temomi cha is really rare to see. In Sayama, Temomi Cha is produced in April, celebrating the harvest of their green tea.
