Had to switch this off as soon at the fat guy said "well your culture is wrong" no. poor choice of wording. You can't say someone's culture is just plain wrong. You can however say there are traditions within said culture that need adapting for example. How is this guy given a platform to discuss things when he's incredibly insensitive and dumb. I know he's American but that's no excuse if you're going to preach like you're right about everything.

playing the devil's advocate here for a moment: do you know how milk is produced in the US, and in Europe? a cow is kept restrained in a tiny cage and artificially inseminated time and time and time again, which gets her milk production going, and that's how the milk we drink is produced. after the tenth or eleventh pregnancy, the cows are so exhausted, with disease and infections to boot (in a lot of cases) that there's a total system collapse and then you know what happens after that.
So for a quick second, I suppose I could side with the Chinese, because, in the face of our loud criticism of this very odd (yet another one) cultural nugget out of China, they would say: "yes, that's right, how about it, whitey, cows, milk, hello?"
Except, where there's one crucial difference with the bear-bile consumer's arguments is that milk is used to feed us, whereas bile bear has zero value for anyone, except for the supremely-ignorant clients who purchase this stuff thinking it's some kind of a cure-all. There's zero scientific evidence supporting the benefits of consuming bear bile. EVEN if there were, this ain't no way to treat an animal. Here's hoping all the people in the world purchasing bear bile and supporting this kind of torture being visited on these beautiful mammals die slowly of other diseases like cancer or heart disease and ditto for their descendants. -

To CENK: You ever see Earthlings buddy??? Pigs, Chickens and Cows SCREEEEEAM while they're being tortured and slaughtered. And we don't just eat "some" animals, we slaughter BILLIONS EVERY YEAR IN JUST THE STATES! Cows, Pigs, and chickens are BRED into CAGES and live their the entire lives. Do you eat DAIRY??! If you choose NOT to eat Veal because they're in cages?? Then Why the hell would you support the Dairy Industry? Mother cows are artificially inseminated over and over their entire lives on what the industry calls a "RAPE RACK", then when their baby is born, it is torn from them and placed into a crate to either be raised to be a milk machine, or killed for veal. You can't support and consume Dairy WITHOUT also supporting Veal. The only reason the Veal industry even exists is because of the DAIRY industry. If you eat dairy, you might as well eat veal. Do your research :)

Bile is a part of stomach acid, you make it yourself why take it from other animals? WTF It makes no sense it all. And that last part is fake, its just to make people shocked (not that they shouldn't be, stabbing a bear for stomach juice?) it would guard it though, or at least try to, in the physical state it's in, being in a cage its whole life.
