A walk through a Grand Nain /Grand Naine banana farm in Cumbum, Tamil Nadu. These are TC plants, first crop. Irrigated and fertilized via drip irrigation.

Labour was not an issue. The main problem was unavailability of reliable power. At times 3 phase power was available for only 3 hours a day. Also the tension prevailing due to the Mullaperiyar issue.

Hello Joe, Where in Tamil Nadu? Could you please reveal the per plant production in KGS. I would like share my expereince with you of 45-50 Kgs per Plant in 2nd cutting. It is an awesome organic product, economical, easy to use and enhances the production atleast by 50%.
