The two areas that majority of tea is grown is Assam and Tamil Nadu (Cunnur / Coonoor). The simple looking factory situated in the beautiful rolling hills of tea plantations churns out amazing amounts of tea everyday. Here is a glimpse into the fascinating world of Tea making - a little noisy, a little dusty but enjoy the process and understand where your 'cup of tea' originated from.

Found a type in their signs. LOL At the fermenting floor (1:29) , smelt should be smelled. :P Sorry, can't help it.... Very interesting video though. Something we take for granted has such a process to bring it to our morning cups.

this must be how to make tea bag tea or instant tea because traditional whole leaf tea is roasted in pots over wood fire. You can call me a tea snob but I don't think that ground up tea leaves is not real tea. Try whole leaf tea and compare the two! <3 mmmm soo good.
