A wild giant panda was spotted hanging around on a bee farm on Tuesday afternoon in a village of Baoxing County in Ya'an City, southwest China's Sichuan Province. The giant panda, covered with green wild flowers on its whole body, was crouching on the farm when a local villager noticed the unexpected visitor to the bee farm. It later turned over a dozen bee hives for honey. Staffs from the local authorities did not approach the giant panda for fear of frightening it, as a result they could not judge its gender. However, after preliminary judgment, they said it was an adult wild giant panda. The giant panda did not leave the bee farm for the nearby nature reserve until Wednesday morning. The village is quite close to the Wolong National Nature Reserve, so giant pandas often come to visit the place.
