Genetic engineering: The world's greatest scam?
(French version -- http://www.greenpeace.org/ogm) Genetic engineering is a threat to food security, especially in a changing climate. The introduction of genetically manipulated organisms by choice or by accident grossly undermines sustainable agriculture and in so doing, severely limits the choice of food we can eat. Once GE plants are released into the environment, they are out of control. If anything goes wrong - they are impossible to recall. GE contamination threatens biodiversity respected as the global heritage of humankind, and one of our world's fundamental keys to survival.

wow, not sure if this video fall into "propaganda", "brainwashing" or "demagogy"

I hate genetic engineering!

thnks :)

Greenpeace..Stop Denying Chemtrails!

Green peace of shit. There is no science of this it is another unscientific propaganda. Fuck of and piss of of.
-
I need some citations... cause y'all got about 99.99999999999% of that in conflict with all the simple research it takes to find articles and full reports stating (and I'm a gamer so mind the analogies)...
"this is basically us playing dog breeds 2.0 with a few new mechanics to the game. We have added a new link-skill feature that allows you to borrow a friend's ability and put it to good use in combos with your own abilities. We are super careful to make sure ALL GMOs plant and animal are sterile while being planted so we don't royally mess up nature. We also added a new vitamin gimmick that allows you to boost the potential of your stats to their max" -
Fuck greenpeace
-
Funny how everyone is talking about "GMOs" as if they are a single thing. That's ridiculously broad and just shows that you have no idea what you're talking about. It's like saying "animals" are bad or good.
Leave science to the scientists. -
The lies in this piece of garbage begins at the :17 second mark. "Ninety percent of genetically engineered crops belong to the corporate agricultural group Monsanto." If Monsanto owned 90% of GE Crops, (emphasis on crops), then the conspiracy theorists would have an argument that Monsanto is indeed looking for control of the world's food supply, and with it, WORLD DOMINATION!
-
Talk about fear mongering appeals to emotion and factual inaccuracies. Greenpeace, you used to be a force for good. What happened?
-
Fuck you, Greenpeace. It's truly a tragedy to see your once humble beginnings translated into unremitted turbo-shilling. The intentionally malicious choice of symbols, sound effects, and ambient music, all fits the pedigree of factually dishonest, scientifically foundation-less propaganda. Clanging pots and pans together about the whole 'monsanto is trying to control us with potatoes' agenda like fucking idiots. GMO technology categorically improves crop yield - where do you even produce these overt lies from? Monsanto and a few other bio-tech firms may have ultimately formed the oligopoly we see in the agricultural industry presently, however, the genesis and development of GM tech would have never reached its current stage without the incentive for business investment. The promise of larger crop yields which were less sensitive to supply-shocks was fully realized by scientific R&D, and as a result, many food products have had their shelve-lives effectively doubled, in addition to being more resistant to parasitic infection. Some valid concerns have been raised as to long-term ecological effects due to the technology allowing genes to translate across gene pools instead of down, although you present them as concerns to human health - which is borderline sinister. Every paper concerning GMOs published within the biochemistry/medicine and physiology fields have confirmed the complete safety and benefits of GM technology. Stop this fucking grandiose memeing.

And how does a company force "bad" seeds on farmers in a caplstest economy? they don't they produce a product that helps farmers get better yealds with less chemicals and a better profit.
-
I will consider this when they cite sourses, I will beleve it when they cite good sourses

Monsanto! Spooky~

There really is no scientific basis to any of this video, and by spinning these lies Greenpeace has probably cost millions of children their lives.
More than one third of nobel laureates are now asking Greenpeace to to reconsider as you can see here https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2016/jun/30/nobel-winners-slam-greenpeace-for-anti-gm-campaign
The issue is that Greenpeace are confusing some forms of industrial agriculture that can be damaging to the environment with GM agriculture as a whole. GM agriculture can help to increase yields with less fertiliser, pesticide or insecticide input, and provide more essential nutrients (as is the case with golden rice which could have prevented millions of under 5 mortality's if Greenpeace hadn't lobbied so hard for it to be banned).
I say this as an overall supporter of Greenpeace, but some of their policies are plainly unsound and awful. -
Greenpeace has long been taken over by infiltration. Now it's another weapon for the elite. But GMO's suck. They are right about that. It's a scam to get all seeds patented by Monsanto. There is no extra yield at all. People are still dying of hunger. Soon 3rd world country farmers must buy from Monsanto, witch they can not do because they have very little money. It's good for depopulation though...
