These are still very good and everyone liked them, but still cannot beat the ones you grow up with, you know? :) 1 c. butter, softened 1 c. sugar 1 c. brown sugar 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. quick oatmeal 2 c. Rice Krispies cereal 1 c. shredded coconut 1 c. nuts, chopped 1 c. chocolate chips In large bowl beat butter and sgars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat together. In separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture and mix together. Mix together oatmeal, Rice Krispies, coconut, nuts and chocolate chips together; add to batter. Form into balls; press lightly onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
