Frog Farm Chronicles - Update 10, Grilled frog after the big harvest.
I decided to do a main harvest of the frogs, Some were a little small but over all the size was good. These frogs were only a little over 3 months old so they grew really fast. I did save 6 frogs that may or may not be for breeding, There not old enough yet. You sound exactly like my buddy from North bay Ontario. So I'm guessing your French-Canadian . Which would be a reason you use there perhaps inappropriately. I know you've said you're a Newfie, but you don't sound like one. I'm also French, but no accent.

people will hate on you for eating frogs because it's uncommon here in the states to eat frog. But in all honesty, I dont see a problem with eating most things. It's meat, you raised them, and they likely lived better then many do before they died. Though it was a bit concerning seeing some twitch, I presume that was just nerves since they seemed pretty well gutted.
-
How long did you cook them? Also, thanks for the video I now know how to eat a whole front instead of just the legs lol.
-
lol this have a awfully look to it lol
-
DAMN LOL
-
It would like to try this food))

i would definitely try to deepfry them, make them really salty like crisps and eat them with some nice dip sauce

You're killing me. It's 2:30 am here and I decide to watch another of your videos and now I'm craving frogs. A few grasshoppers would go over with a Chang also. Nice video.

I really like the set up of the grill you have...I have never cooked frog like that but may have to try it next summer if I catch enough...The frogs sure were nice size for 3 months old...The meal looked great...Hope all is well...

so - was it worth it? all the work and cost? fishy chicken - hmmmm... I dont know about frogs... it looks like too little meat for too much work... maybe fried would be better?
-
I love your self sufficiency though. Respect to your hard work always.
-
Not for me!!!
-
What do they taste like? The skin I mean.
-
your frog dinner looked real good someday i might get a chance to try them
-
this series really worked out

your right about that people dont like you eating the animals thing cause the dislikes on these type of vids on your channel always seem to be higher. people come on if you have ever lived on a farm you would know the basis for raising your animals they have a good life some mate and make more kids they usually stick around but things like excess roosters gets eaten theres no point in having multiple roosters when 1 is good for about 30 hens same logic applies to the other animals plus you run into ones that fight each other and that is much more akin to animal abuse then butchering them humanely

Something tell me they would be better fried. but idk i never thought frogs where edible.

At first glance the upload's thumbnail pic, this is totally a MUST SEE! LOL,......just before we eat, i tune in here and your upload is my "appetizer",....just over here we're have beans, rice and stuffed poblano peppers, no frogs, :( ,.....when you were grillin',belly side up, i had no problem, but when you turned them over, seeing their froggie faces, I felt sad, but....just another ordinary day on planet earth! Thumbs up my buddy, even your puppy loves the roasted frog feet! ;)

Biology class classic...
Variety is the spice of life so they say but frogs look like more fun to raise than to cook and eat...lots of work for little meat.
Fun project . Thanks for sharing -
I don't get people who get mad because you eat what you take care after. I hate animal abuse but this is no where near any kind of animal abuse ITS CALLED SURVIVING! Shit I think you take care of your animals better than some people take care of their own kids. Love you videos I can't express it enough! So fascinating!
