LUZHOU, CHINA — Two heads are definitely better than one for a pig farmer in China’s Sichuan province. Farmer Zhong Guoyuan says one of his 3-year-old sows has given birth to a “freak pig”, which has got locals flocking to his farm in the southeastern city of Luzhou. The piglet was born on June 5 with two snouts and three eyes, Chinese-language website Sichuan News reported. Guoyuan said he usually feeds his pigs ragweed and didn’t give the pregnant sow anything else, according to Sichuan News. The farmer has been offered up to 2,000 yuan ($300) for the piglet, but has turned down all offers because his son wants to keep the animal. Two-headed pigs aren’t uncommon in China. Last August, a two-headed piglet was found abandoned outside a Buddhist temple in the northeastern city of Tianjin. That pig had two heads and three ears, and was able to eat from both mouths. In June last year, another two-headed pig was born in Chongqing in southwestern China, but died three days later. ------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to TomoNews, where we animate the most entertaining news on the internets.
