Final top dressing of fertiliser in paddy cultivation Odia VARRAT Odisha

After 40 -42 days of transplanting of paddy (short duration summer crop) final top dressing with Urea and Potash is necessary for better ear head formation. For this top dressing Urea @17-18 KG and Potash @ 7-8 KG is used per acre of land. At the time of top dressing 1 to1.5 inch of standing water should be kept in the field uniformly.
