So the demand for American Corn, and the fact that likely the US will not produce enough this year. Will this drive Corn prices up this winter?? Also will wheat prices rise slightly? Any chance they will go up any with the lower US yields this year, or is the demand for US wheat just not there at this time? I know the crop report that comes out after all the wheat is finally harvested and yields tallied will certainly play a factor since it will likely show the lower amount produced in 2011

Moe, whats your opinion with Wheat & Corn prices. Surely you must feel that even though other factors with our economy currently still wont make up for the fact that from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico wheat yields have been horrible in comparison with ANY year! In addition corn acres are down in Ohio for sure, I had returns and know several dealers who had LARGE amount of seed corn returns also. Plus factor here in Ohio late planting = less potential for high yielding corn!
