farmers market in Japan
This market is every wednesday and saturday from 12.00 noon in the local station,it has cheap and fesh produceI did not get the chance to go back as I bought an i phone 5 not as fast as they said

Garry It looks great. And good prices. Always good to support local farmers if possible. Plus if you get to know them, like butchers, they can help you out in many ways (these folks didn't seem too friendly though)

Apparently タラメ is the shooting branches from a "Aralia elata",which is a small tree/shrub. They're eaten in the spring fried in a tempura batter. It's interesting but don't think I'd go out of my way to try it lol.
