Farm Stay Japan
Join us for a quick drive around different farms in Yamanouchi. Yamanouchi is made up of many small villages within a group of mountains up to 2300ish meters. The ruggedness of the seasons means that the characters here are similarly rugged. Sometimes short-tempered, and sometimes the most heart ful people on earth. Last night & Today is was only the latter. Yamanouchi, you certainly turned it on - I for one have never met so many awesome characters in such a short space of time!! Please come and visit Yamanouchi and try to meet some of these characters again^-^.

I really would love someone to film me too,...though most of the comments about filming me have been "You might damage the camera.." ha ha..Karuizawa is very nice too in the summer to escape the Tokyo heat, if you head about the same distance again (2.5 or 3hours on the Highway) from Tokyo, you reach Yamanouchi - Wife's hometown. Yes it really is the sticks. 50km to next traffic lights from here. 50km is quite a long way by Japanese standards. Met more great characters today at 30&50km run.

I thought Karuizawa was remote (although really touristy), but Yamanouchi is really out in the sticks. What prompted you to visit there? Also, Craig, I hope sometimes you will loan the camera to someone so we can see you in the video as well. Just a thought ^_-
