I am going to Nagano to wwoof soon. Did you have any trouble navigating japan? I don't speak japanese. Any advice?

That was a late response :P I'm too young to go woofing. Well not exactly young but im not in a state you travel alone yet. But i am planning to do it in the future.

@s1gnex I took one semester of Japanese at the community college, but forgot most of it before I went to Japan. You don't need to know the language but it's helpful in smaller towns to know the basics. Hope you can go wwoof!

I just applied to be a wwoofer in japan. It was always my dream to go there. Do you have to speak read and understand Japanese? I'm still very young (21 years old) living with my parents doing nothing! And later i found out about wwoof-japan and i almost started to cry! Now my dream can come true. I hope i can go to Japan as soon as possible.
