Shelley and I are part way through an amazing and eye opening six months on Quentin and Lesley Bland's certified organic vegetable farm in Kirkconnell, New South Wales. The work we've already done entitles us to stay another year down under, and has inspired me to consider a career in organic farming. We've been lucky enough to have a look into where our food comes from; to sum up what we've seen, if you wish to help your health, family and the environment, support your local organic farmers and buy REAL food. If you want to get your hands on these delicious veggies, you'll find the Bland family at Everleigh, Bondi and Taylor Square markets in Sydney and at Canberra farmers' market, every Saturday.
