It seems like Fair Trade is just another consumer con. An insidious one at that.
It takes advantage of consumers who have a conscience but doesn't give a better deal to the producers at all. It's quite sickening really.
Capitalism is upping its game a notch with the sophistication of a psychopathic politician, and it's got most of us fooled.
If you want to not be part of exploitation - don't buy Fair Trade. Buy from an independent co-operative instead.
