Ethiopia leases huge tracts of farmland to foreign companies
The Green Revolution that ended food shortages in some parts of the world decades ago may be coming to East Africa, bringing the promise of bountiful harvests in a region more often associated with drought and famine. But as VOA's Peter Heinlein reports from the Oromia region of Ethiopia, not everyone is pleased at the prospect.

the term globalization always go against Africa while its always work for the rest of world, the reason is that our foolish and selfish government leaders. the government need to improve or must go to bring change. While people in Africa starving from lack of food they export the food to other nation .. come you think this is fair.

wat a sad situation...our people are being paid like slaves while foreign investors are buying land for dirt cheap and making crazy profits. Meanwhile the land is being stolen then sold by the government.
