What a powerful video. I'm currently writing a lecture on factory farming.
-
I don't give a shit, animals are for us to eat them, stop whining about it.
-
This isn't The Secrets of Food Marketing. Its The Secrets of PETA Propaganda and how to feed it to the public so it doesn't look like PETA Propaganda.
-
The ending gave me chills.
-
This video is making me hungry!
-
A lot of vegans don't care about the war in Syria. Go figure.
-
This is very important but kind of misleading, too. At the end she removes much of her own - and the companies' - responsability by claiming that it is the populations' fault. Well it is to a point, but most of all it's the corporations' fault. They're doing this, they choose to treat animals - and the environment - like this. And for what? For profit. The vast majority of working class and middle class people just can't afford to eat organic or go vegan. The problem is in our economic system.

Im sorry but i didnt find this this video funny or shocking in any kind. Its not new they treat animals very bad just to provide food for humans. No offense for anyone but its nothing new. The way she presented to her students is showing mostly true. Thats how marketing works. Lying everywhere even if you dont realize. I guess these people never heard of it.

lol such a transparent vegan propaganda video.
like how they show you this at 4:50 it looks horrible with the metal and the concrete. makes it look like they are holding down and forcing the sow to feed the piglets. In truth thats a device made to prevent the mother from smothering the piglets which happens allot both in farms and with boars in the wild.
5:00 that number of 50% is a lie and a well known myth and debunked many times. see they get the number by total antibiotics sold indiscriminate to what type it is or even for what animal those antibiotics are for. So basically any vet office is lumped into live stock farms as well as stock houses for vets and live stock farms.
Ironic that this video is about how the meat industry brain washes you wile this same video is doing the same to you. -
Wow, way to make an entire room hate you in less than 7 minutes. Her jolly cheerful voice doesn't go well with her explanations of mass farming.
-
I am literally okay with every little thing she said. I already knew the marketing ploys and I was still okay with it. And I always will be. lol Think I'll have a BLT tonight, extra B. The key difference between me and a Vegan is that I will never, ever try to FORCE anyone to live like me. Because frankly, don't give a fuck about how anyone else lives their lives. Shame more people aren't like that.
-
I saw this video on a different site and wanted to tell her shes a POS but I realized at the end shes not OK with it.
-
.... But.... Wait, so does she still take her paycheck or...???
-
"My job is to make people feel okay about cramming animals together."
My heart dropped when she said that. -
No problem with killing animals for food to me, it is natural. Human being do that for milleniums as many other animals. We need to eat meat and humans were not made just to eat potatoes or carrots..
Problem raises when you kill seals or foxes to make coats or crocodiles to make bags. -
Oh c'mon, face the reality, a billion people in this world eat pork, ham, poultry product etc.
How come they fill those market without "maximize" the efficiency in time and space?
If you want some pork from pig which could roam freely in vast grassland or whenever it lives, you should pay more for that pork, because that was expensive treatment.
You could produce your own food by farming, to make sure everything what you would worry about in farm product is absent (no bad treatment to animals, given enough space to animals to live, hygiene, or whatever it is).
But, nobody wants to produce their own food and nobody wants to pay more, so that's what they do to provide a food which is suitable to your demand price.
That's reality. -
My son, 7, Loves adding the egg to brownie mix
-
yes very good thank you

Vidéo reprenant des informations plus ou moins connues de tous. (bien que dommageables)
Elle dénonce le marketing qui est pourtant grandement utilisé dans la vidéo, et trompe le spectateur. -
Anybody who eats meat from factory farms is part of a system of mass cruelty and suffering.. If you are happy with that don`t complain about corrupt or unethical politicians because you do the same when it suits you
