They put most of them up in Conservative ridings & then try to take away people's rights under the guise of workplace safety. I'm reminded of the concrete bunkers in Normandy - the last reminders of the Nazi occupation. These wind turbines will be hell to clean up after we give up on this green scam (ubergreen Germany had to finally abandon this nonsense - Ontario will eventually be bled to that point as well.)

This is a great example of Rebel Media fanning the flames. I'm not a big fan of these turbines. However, as long as the plots of land on which these turbines weren't subject to expropriation, that is the owners entered into the lease agreements voluntarily, then this request is perfectly reasonable.

help me to understand something here, for example; you rent a room from me and we sign a contract and you pay me money so that you can use the room for your business. I go to the room you rented and spray pesticide without you knowing, which might get you poisoned... and I tell you it's my room and I can do spray whenever I want.

As a land owner I am one of those people that do not want any wind or solar generation installations near our farms and homes. I'm sure if you put these in areas where property owners really don't want them they may become target practice for some. Also, we allow hunters on our property and they are some of the most responsible and respectful people. We're out there farming and using our property for horseback riding, never an issue. Everyone hunts out here! City folk have no idea. Its the ATV'rs and Snowmobilers we have problems with. Please ask before you enter, close all gates, don't drive/ride over my crops or fences, don't chase my livestock, thank you!

If you go to Lincoln/Pelham/Welland/Haldimand regions and the turbines are always off.... ALWAYS. there are over 20 in the area... all off all the time.
so id like to know why they are complaining about working, a benefit which many don't have and some don't want to, and being paid by us, the taxpayer, when none of the turbines really need work done if they're not even on....
oh no! I heard gun shots in a wealthy moderate country while I'm in a well known rural hunting area! oh my! my feelings! I could have been hurt by someone with a gun and hunting license who was trained on safety! -
hey ont. farmers! MAKE AN ANNUAL CONRACT FOR DOUBLE WHAT THEY ARE PAYING YOUR FOR LEASE, TO PUT UP "NO HUNTING" SIGNS! Include in the contract that you are not responsible for enforcement, nor will you allow anyone on your property to enforce same. See how they like THAT!
