Dyason Farm : a tea tree production , Part 1

We met the Dyason and spent 3 weeks on their farm. The main production is the tea tree. They distil the leaves for extracting the oil. It’s a small market in Australia, but promising. Rob was the first farmer in Australia to plant a tea tree plantation. Since then they developed this crop . They have a big part on their farm in native Forest, they are able to manage this forest and provide another income. Alister came back to the family farm 5 years ago and has a lot of project for the futur, continuing the teatree production and developing the eucalyps oil production. For that they need to expend their distillery first. Beautiful futur for them ! Good luck Nous avons rencontré la famille Dyason et passé 3 semaines dans leur ferme. La production principale est le tea tree. Ils distillent les feuilles pour en extraire l’huile. C’est un petit marché en Australie mais prometteur. Rob était le premier fermier en Australie à planter une plantation de teatree. Depuis ils ont largement développé cette culture. Ils possède une grande partie de leur ferme en foret native qu’il sont capable de manager et ce qui leur assure un revenu complémentaire. Alister est revenu dans la ferme familiale il y a 5 ans et avec un grand nombre de projet pour le futur : continuer la production de teatree mais aussi développer la production d’huile d’eucalyptus. Mais pour cela ils ont besoin d’agrandir leur distillerie. Un beau futur pour eux bonne chance !
