Duck Hunting Rice Mitigation 2013
Rice Mitigation 2013 was the worst we have suffered in 3 years which is great for farmers. Not so great for duck hunters. Some advice Anthony from a seasoned duck hunter in those areas. Firstly always take your gun with you when rounding up seemingly dead ducks. Sometimes they may look dead but as you approach they can still fly away or even dive underwater and stay for minutes at a time. Also there is never a shortage of red belly and brown snakes in the months betweem November and February. Even in the water. By the way that blind you guys set up would have been spotted a mile away by the ducks. They are very aware animals and have excellent eyesight. Also they know the landscape well. So when a dome shaped object appears suddenly believe that they know its foreign and you will find they will avoid flying over it. Don't mean to put you guys down. Just thought id offer some tips from my years of hunting ducks especially in the Griffith, Leeton and Whitton areas. Thanks for video.
