Diplomats are used to cleaning up international messes, but messes on beaches are not normally in their line. Yet, the U.S. State Department enlisted diplomats from a number of different nations to clean up the beach in Key Biscayne, Florida. The idea was to raise awareness of the need to clean up plastic containers and other garbage polluting the world's oceans. Jose Pernalete of VOA's Spanish branch filed this report, narrated by Bill Rodgers. Originally published at - http://www.voanews.com/a/3506549.html
