D-Strong: China social media users show love for US boy battling cancer
Internet users in China are posting photos with the hashtag of #D-Strong to help an 8-year-old American boy with cancer realize his dream of becoming famous in China. As of Wednesday, there has already been over 500,000 impressions for the hashtag #D-Strong from posts on China’s twitter-like social media website Weibo. Dorian Murray, who is from Westerly, in the US state of Rhode Island, has been receiving well wishes and comforting messages from Chinese social media users. People in China have even posed with posters with messages of encouragement while standing at the Great Wall holding signs with the popular hashtag term #D-Strong and other messages. 2 years ago when Dorian was in kindergarten I was in the same school as him the first time I saw him I felt really bad for him also at the same time my 8 year old cusin was his best friend and still is today and Dorian makes my cousin so happy so I would just give my life to him this is Jordan and I believe in Dorian if Dorian is reading this my cousins name is Anthony so you will definitely remember him. #Dstrong we all love and support you Dorian and it breaks my heart and wish you would get better
