Back in 2012, the New American reported that Harry Reid's son, Rory Reid, was the chief representative for a Chinese energy firm planning to build a $5-billion solar plant on public land in Laughlin, Nevada. And journalist Marcus Stern with Reuters also reported that Sen. Reid was heavily involved in the deal as well. "[Reid] and his oldest son, Rory, are both involved in an effort by a Chinese energy giant, ENN Energy Group, to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel manufacturing plant in the southern Nevada desert," he wrote. "Reid has been one of the project's most prominent advocates, helping recruit the company during a 2011 trip to China and applying his political muscle on behalf of the project in Nevada." "His son, a lawyer with a prominent Las Vegas firm that is representing ENN, helped it locate a 9,000-acre (3,600-hectare) desert site that it is buying well below appraised value from Clark County, where Rory Reid formerly chaired the county commission." Although these reports are in plain view, the mainstream media has so far ignored this link. The BLM's official reason for encircling the Bundy family with sniper teams and helicopters was to protect the endangered desert tortoise, which the agency has previously been killing in mass due to "budget constraints."

So Bundy broke a law that was put in place to drive out the farmers because the chinese needed to build a solar plant for millions of dollars. Why did the Chinese and the Ried administration not just use iminant domain laws to move the ranchers away from the new chinese construction project ? Does anyone know the answer to that ?

This is not a land grab, as is being portrayed, since the land is public land and the Chinese company bought other land before the project was cancelled. This is about removing illegal cattle from public lands.

People need to get the facts straight, especially Jones. First of all, the Chinese project was cancelled last year. Second, they were planning to build their solar plant on land they BOUGHT AND PAID FOR from Clark County. Third, the land they bought was on the other side of Las Vegas, miles from the Bundy ranch. Fourth, the Bundy family does not own the land they are claiming is their families. If it was, they would not owe any fees, but would owe property taxes. Back in territorial days ranchers preferred to pay grazing fees rather than taxes. Bundy's family never owned the land, ever. The land they have been grazing their cattle on is public land, but they haven't paid the fees every other cattle rancher pays for the last 20 years. Bundy admits he owes about $300,000 (the BLM says over a million) in unpaid fees. The BLM finally decided to act to remove Bundy's private cattle from public land he does not pay to use, although he most certainly is making a profit from. Folks, get the facts straight before jumping to conclusions. None of this is helping the political discussion in the US today.

It has gotten to the point of no return. Everything is broken, corrupt, lies upon lies, graft, treason, tyranny, unconstitutional acts, ... "We the People" are not strong enough to bring back America. We need the Military to take over the government and take care of business (kick everyone out of office, bring those traitors to trial then hang and shoot them dead), eradicate the IRS, eradicate the Federal Reserve Bank and open every vault to discover the truth behind our banking system, eradicate the entire court system with all of its unlawful laws, burn every law book and start over, arrest and tried by tribunal every lawyer and judge too. Then and only then when the Bill of rights and the Constitution of the United States has been restored turn the country back to the people with a stern warning, "Never let it get this bad ever again or we will take over and keep the power because you the people are not worthy". Those in the military are the people too. Someone in the military must take over or someone who was just kicked out because he would not go along with the "plan" must take over.

For all you people that claim Bundy has broken the law, you may want to know what the "law" of the land is. According to the Constitution of the United States of America, The Federal Gov is only allowed to own a very small portion of the US known as the District of Columbia, and whatever ports, and bases it requires. Cliven Bundy actually payed grazing fees in the past to the county, he lives, but he does not recognize fees owed to the Fed...that doesn't even own the land. The fact of the matter is that, the land in question is Nevada public land, that Bundy owns the grazing and water rights to. If Bundy owes any fees, it would be to the County...not the Fed. The way I see it is The real crimes here are being committed by the feds.

We are being robbed, these are farmers who give our country food,and our Government is dealing with the Chinese under the table, and coming to use force and there power to steal this mans cattle, wrong and shame on our Government for allowing something like this to go on in our country, i am for the ranchers. Our Government is using there laws to steal from small people. So sad on our Government. Where are all the news companies,why haven't they been reporting on this story,this is more important cause it's our counties food supply for our country, everybody likes a good steak,i no i do.
