This is why I don't eat any kind of animal flesh. whether it's a chicken a rat a snake oracal or a cow. all of the animals have brains and spinal cords they feel fear agony and suffer just as we do. there are plenty of healthy sources of protein in plants such as grains and beans. vegetable sources of protein are much lower in fat and decrease the risk of heart disease heart attack and stroke dramatically. if you don't want to feel pain and suffering at the hands of someone else why would you become the cause of suffering of those who cannot cry for help. 20. A farm-raised chicken only costs about $6 in China, but acquiring the same amount of meat from rats definitely involves more human labor investment. I had tried mice meat when I was a kid, we did the catching and cooking for fun. To be honest, these little rodents taste 3 times as better as the tasteless chicken. I would be more than willing to buy some properly prepared rats than chicken if the prices are similar.
