China's Millionaire Pigeon Racers (Part 3/3)
Start from the beginning and watch part 1: http://bit.ly/Pigeon-Racers-1 While most "nouveau riche" happily spend their new money on shit the old money has already deemed acceptable, China's spoiled young princelings aren't content with horses, sports cars, and insanely tacky watches alone. In tribute to the intrepid bootleggers who've propped up their country's market economy, China's rich have taken arguably the worst bird of all time, the pigeon, and slapped a Louis Vuitton logo on it. Racing pigeons are the new thoroughbreds here, with birds auctioned for hundreds of thousands of dollars apiece and races netting millions for the championship flock. Which sucks for the old timers, whose balcony-bred birds don't stand a chance against these million-dollar superflocks. And which just sucks in general because, well, pigeons. Fucking pigeons. i really think that the millionare or billionare guy fixed it , after all he was the one organizing the race and in charge of the tallying system

Refusing gifts is kind of important in China... thinking the grandmother's vase was one of those gifts you refuse and do not get offered again.
-
Well, I don't know if this racing game is indeed for money laundering. But as a Chinese, I'm really offended by the arrogance of this reporter. He's so ungrateful toward the hospitality of the host.
As those people said in the video, it's more about the honor, not about some sneaky scheme or something. Why can't you just look at the bright side of everything.
I really like your video about Africa, but from this video, I can see that you have some attitudes against Chinese people. Why is that? -
I like this video and all the people in it except for this asshole journalist, he's a prick and needs to fuck off!
-
I love how the Chinese guys are constantly giving them gifts. Its really wonderful

Hoping to try my hand at raising..and eventually racing pigeons. We are picking them up tonight!! These have never flown anywhere. i gotta lot of learning to do about them. i heard, i should only fly the youngest of them. The older ones may not return, or they might go back to where they came from..which is only mile from our home.Anyways, this is a very interesting hobby. "Birdman", he raised his birds in prison..while doing time there he came up with a cure for a Pigeon disease!

Actually all the worlds problems would be ultimately solved if everyone rich & powerful were able to literally control peoples thoughts, perceptions & opinions- anyway no stress- we're just about there.
-
I know- I mean every other media outlet is happy to display huge bias when bribed/backed/sponsored(actually even Vice but then that is an unavoidable occupational hazard)- free media focused on reporting rather than endorsing?... what kind of bullshit is that? Cigarettes were good but I think giving him a vase was taking the empty vessel metaphor too literally- most successful bribery is conducted with sex & money and less often vases.
