China's Coal, Energy Requirements and Wind Farms in the Gobi Desert

China is the biggest consumer of coal, used for electricity production. An additional 300 million Chinese people are expected to switch to a modern city lifestyle,demanding more energy and creating more pollution. In the Gobi Desert of China wind farms are being set up to provide more cleaner electricity so that China can cope with demand.
