China glass bridge: Zhangjiajie Canyon glass bridge is the world’s longest and highest - TomoNews
ZHANGJIAJIE, CHINA — China has recently completed the world’s highest and longest glass bridge, giving the country another thrilling and scary tourist attraction. The glass bridge stretches across a canyon in Zhangjiajie, a national park in China’s Hunan province. It was designed by Israeli architect Haim Dotan. The length of the bridge is 430 meters, slightly shorter than the height of Malaysia’s Petronas Towers. Authorities say it can hold up to 800 visitors. Its glass floor is made of 5-cm-thick laminated glass, a type of safety glass that remains held together by a vinyl interlayer if it shatters. A total of 99 laminated glass panels are installed on the bridge, which can support up to 800 visitors. There is no official opening date for the glass bridge, but the South China Morning Post reported that it is likely to be open to the public in July. ------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to TomoNews, where we animate the most entertaining news on the internets. i normally wonder wat's wrong with some people.......... "They never admit defeat"....China has made theirs and it's very smart and attractive... For those saying chinese items never last, definitely from a mile one can tell where you're from.. but the fact remains and we know it well, Not that Chinese items are "Fake", some countries which want to be acknowledged as the best design those items and then labels them "made in China" so that the user can think it's from China when it's ruined...
if China's items never last long, then why are corporations like Apple, Intel, Microsoft and Nike running and establishing their firms there.... -
I don't trust that shit

there will be people who would try to break it by jumping on.
when the West get a taste of this bridge, there will be someone who would want to get notice by doing either Parkour, skateboarding, bike tricks, bungee jumping and stupid shit. -

Serious questions, anyone knows how bridges like this are created from one point to another? I mean they start on the right side and then take the cables down and walk all the way across then climb up to the left side pull the wires tight and tie em up?
