Cause 4 Canines 2016

The dog meat trade in Asia condemns millions of dogs to death every year in the most horrific and inhumane ways possible. Slaughterhouses torture dogs to death, with the thought that it produces a better quality/tender meat and makes whomever consumes the meat stronger (due to the release of endorphins as the animal suffers). These animals have been born into captivity on dog meat farms or stolen from their owners and sold to slaughterhouses. Cause 4 Canines was founded to help raise funds for foundations that are committed to ending this animal cruelty and suffering. The foundations rescue affected animals, provide survivors with a safe haven as they await adoption, shut down dog farms and lobby for legislative changes to animal protection laws in each region. They are making a huge difference and as support for these organization grow, so will their ability to help animals and make change happen. Cause 4 Canines is holding our first charity event on Sat. October 22, 2016 at the Oakville Club in Oakville, ON to help raise funds and awareness in support of these incredible foundations.
