I like how they try to make this entire tour clean and neat and friendly, there are even flowers and some grass in the beginning of the video and happy music. These fuckers are murdering innocent animals; I don't buy it.

Over 20 years I the game and I'd sack the guy on the slitting saw tomorrow. Brutal finish on the sides of beef. And the boned meet looked liked it was butchered by Mr magoo. ..

How can you trust the truth of a film clip which is promoting it's own interests? They would be crazy to show us the things that go wrong so, of course, they don't. I have no doubt that most of the people working in this abattoir are kind, decent citizens but they have to believe that what they are doing is ok because they couldn't live with themselves otherwise. We have no proof from what we have viewed, that the cattle are properly stunned before they are savagely cut open. What happens if a cow remains alert? Do they re-do the process? I think not. De-sensitising of the workers is an inevitable part of the deal. How do I know...the warning of graphic and confronting images at the start of this film tells us that for normal people this is a shocking business!

I liked the video - although I'm not sure that the cheery soundtrack is a good accompaniment to industrial-scale butchery.

Although this video is professionally made and does contain a lot of information, I am pretty sure the makers of the video are aware that most people will be coming here to see what extent of suffering there is in the australian slaughtering process. As a meat eater who wants to be informed, I felt short changed with the 3 seconds of video that showed the actual killing.

Damn I love beef...everything either dies before you cook it or in your gullet. God put animals on earth for food. Get over it already

it's wrong! every time anything resists being hurt, that's one more step toward stopping torment.
we should always utilize science, but no one person should ever be trusted with that kind of power alone. A benevolent person could go mad. but if you got a team, perhaps 6 women and 6 men. it would take a team of benevolent scientists with a 50/50 split of gender and race and everything should be done only after a vote is cast. Not just throwing together a team. a team that has proven themselves unable to kill anything and against torment. There can be a director. I could lead such a team but wouldn't even trust just myself with that kind of power.
As long as we accept our torment, we will be victims of it.
This is wrong even though it is more humane. I stopped eating all beef and will eventually give up meat altogether when my income allows me to afford to do so. -
Fuckin sick people why not eat dogs and cats why cow n pigs...ahahahah exactly what the Chinese and Vietnamese will say...respect their taste...I can care less
