Raised with love, our 6 month old sow is processed at home in our backyard. This is a short how-to guide on the way we slaughter and butcher some of my livestock. You will see how we humanely kill the live animal, scrape, gut and cut up the carcass, while i was teaching a friend how I have learnt to do it. Butchering an animal is something everyone who eats meat should do once in their lives. Doing so connects you to your food and makes you appreciate that a live animal was killed to sustain you. Enjoy.
