Bow Lake Wind Project

Batchewana First Nation is partnered with BluEarth on the Bow Lake Wind Project, representing one of the largest economic partnerships between a First Nation and wind energy developer in Canada. Batchewana First Nation know and refer to the facility as Chinodin (big wind) Chigumi (Lake Superior) Nodin Kitagan (wind farm). The facility became operational in September 2015.
