Better Management Practices (BMP) for sugarcane
Sugarcane is one of the heaviest water using crops in the Godavari basin. WWF-India has identified "thirsty crops" like sugarcane, cotton and rice, which happen to be major users of water from all forms, to address the impacts of the cultivation of these crops on the available water resources in the Godavari basin. This film addresses the issues like efficient use of water so as to maintain water sustainability in sugarcane production and how it will impact the sugarcane industries in future.
