That's amazing

Walmart does it better

The white one was sick I could tell because it had spots on the head and it was rubbing against the glass and wasn't swimming around a lot 🙁

That silver and red one is so beautiful!
Also, just because shops sell their Bettas in small containers, or have them on show in small containers, doesn't mean you should make them live like that after you buy them. Bettas need room to swim around comfortably, I'd feel terrible keeping my Betta in a small quarter gallon tank. I don't think you'd enjoy living your life in a small box, after all! -
Betta fish are tropical fish so yes they do need a heater that keeps the water at 78-80 F you CAN keep them without a heater but they are way more likely to get diseases like fin rot or white cotton fungus without the heater. A filter is also a must for practically all fish. It's less stress on the fish when you don't have to do such drastic water changes. And just because they're in those little spaces in the stores does not mean that's how they should live their lives. They need at least 2.5 gallons of tank space if you want them to thrive. Bettas can live 8-10 years if treated correctly with proper space, filtration, temperature, and food variety. Keeping them with no heater in a bowl with lack luster food will only allow your betta to live 1-2 years and that's just not right. If you're going to have a pet you should strive to give it the best life possible.
