I feel ya Paula! I can't stand brown rice at all. I get my Jasmine white rice. I also have Jasmine brown rice which doesn't taste as bad as regular brown rice. Unfortunately the only Asian/ethnic market near me burned down. :(

What is the serving size after its cooked +The Barbell Slayer
I'm using rice as well as a Carb source but I'm disappointed on how much I'm getting after its cooked for the calories. I'm getting 140g of carbs from rice but it like a one cup and weighs about 180g on the scale. So little for 140g of carbs. Just checking if I'm missing something -
I've always hated brown rice and I try to force myself to like it but I just can't. I always go running back to my short grain white rice after a day or two lol.

i burnt out on brown rice as well. there really isn't that much diff nutrition-wise. i just watch the portions.

Ditch the carbs, lift 2-3x a week with full body routines, walk daily, don't do other cardio, do refeeds with high glycemic carbs every 7-10 days. After you get down to 18-20% body fat. Slowly bring back carbs oriented around heavy leg training, cardio, or HIIT sessions (before, during, and after) while switching to more physique oriented training.

I have great respect for Paula for broadcasting her weight-loss journey to the world and I love that she is going to the gym consistently, but where are the cardio sessions, weigh ins, progress pictures, etc.? She is obviously 125-150 pounds overweight at the least and I hope this doesn't sound rude but I don't see much progress made in the past 9 months. I think you should stop lifting so much and start doing more cardio and watching your diet. Furthermore, it is very tough to gain muscle when losing weight, so it would be better the shed the pounds and then start prioritizing the weights when you wanna go on a mini-bulk. Please prove me if im wrong, I'd love to know how much weight youve lost so far! I still enjoy and respect what youre doing :)

you need to do low carb i did n lost 100 lbs 240 to 140 within 5 months it just melted offf
