Behind Bars
'Behind Bars' takes a look at the illegal trade of exotic birds in Bangalore, India. Many animal traders in the city sell exotic birds like macaws and African Grey Parrots despite international laws against this. Loopholes in the Indian law is what allows them to do this openly to high-profile buyers and breeders.

I rarely comment on on videos, especially negative comments, but it's so clear that you put zero attention to detail in identifying the different species correctly. Here's what I noted and there could be a lot more:
1:29 Identified a Cockatoo as a Cockatiel
2:10 Identified Parakeets as African Lovebirds
3:13 Again Cockatoo is referred to as a Cockatiel
3:24 Birds referred to as Conures which are not
4:13 Bird referred to as Conures which are a larger breed of Australian Parakeet
5:26 Sun & Jenday Conures referred to as African Lovebirds
5:44 Are not Conures
As a film maker how is anyone supposed to take you seriously when your facts are all wrong? If I were one of the people you interviewed I'd be ticked off for wasting my time.

Please be sure what CITES clearance is,Not all the species come under CITES.Once you understand CITES then you do a documentary .most of these are not wild caught one.I do agree that wildlife poaching is one of the thriving trade, but your CITES point is a flawed argument.
