The history of the Barkly Hill Holiday Bungalow goes back more than 100 years and it was originally one of the properties built for British tea planters. It blessed with panoramic views of the Hanthana and Galaha mountain ranges, tea estates and vegetable gardens. Barkley Hill Holiday Bungalow Location The location of the Barkleyhill Holiday bungalow is at Pannilathenna which is 12 km from Gampola city on the Pupuressa - a mountainous and scenic route. The Climate is not as cool as Nuwaraeliya but very comfortable like Bandarawela. The surrounded area is blessed with tea estates, tea factories, mini waterfalls, water streams, natural rock pools and mini jungles. In addition, within 20 km from the bungalow, there are number of places to visit which are the most popular and world famous tourist destinations in hill country. Some of them are Ambuluwawa,Kothmale reservoir, Kothmale Dam, and Kothmale Maha Seya. Barkley Hill Holiday Bungalow Accommodation The bungalow is having 2 triple rooms and one double room. 10 people can be accommodated comfortably and it can be extended up to 15 with their own arrangements. Food Meals can be prepared by the guest themselves with their own provisions or they can provide you experienced cook who can cook a wide range of western,eastern , Chinese and Sri Lankan menus.Optionally, you can directly order the meals from their menu.Also BBQ facility is available with them.
