I have a tilapia farm in Brazil where we raise tilapia for the local market and the state captital. We have 10,000 fish on our 8 acres. I also write articles about tilapia farming.
I think the set up you have is very inventive and I can tell you have thought through some of the potential problems and found a solution. Great job!
I will be sharing this video on a blog about backyard tilapia farming to show how everyone can do it. -

Great idea thinking of setting up a fish farm in Zambia

How much does it cost to run?

I'd throw a few plecostamos in there, they're algae eating fish and never need to be fed with the look of ur pool/tank. it'll take a couple years b4 u see any change tho bc how small they are when u buy 'em.
-
Do you go fishing in there lol ?
-
The pipes are a great way for your fish to hide from predator birds and the unbearable heat of summer.
-
Is that algae build-up intentional? You make no mention of what your fish's source food is.

I have heard metal lines can be a no no. The copper lines you are using for your heater can cause problems with heavy metal buildup. This maybe something you want to look into.
