I have one of these incubators. While it looks like it is a very nice product, it is not. It is unable to maintain temperature even if it is kept in the foam shipping box as an insulation in a normal room temperature room. The alarm will ring and it won't be able to return to normal temperature.
Even when it is at temperature, the temperature is not accurate at the level of the eggs. The probe is too close to the heat source and fan. the eggs are nearly 5 degrees colder at their level than the probe says.
Then, the egg turner will suddenly go into a state where it is turning the eggs constantly, not as they should be over a 2 hour period.
This incubator is sold through a variety of sources on the net and most probably have a warrantee period that is less than the time it takes to run the incubator once, and if you have trouble, they won't honor a replacement request.
These incubators are likely inexpensive because they are faulty in design. In two runs of mine, with over 70 fertilized eggs, I've only had 4 successful chicks.
I don't recommend this product unless you have the skill to re-engineer it to work properly. -
