Rice "Perseverance Jojutla" is produced by the Rice Growers of the Southern Region of the State of Morelos. It is a social enterprise that cultivates and sells Morelos rice, unique quality that has Designation of Origin. This quality is only possible because of the handicrafts of their own producers and to the warm and fertile valleys of the southern state of Morelos characteristics. Since 1900, Jojutla rice has gained worldwide fame. In that year it won a silver medal for having the best rice in the world at the International Universal Exhibition held in Paris France. Two years later it won again. In more recent years it received the "Grand Prix America Quality and Service" and in 2012 the Declaration of Designation of Origin "Morelos State Rice" is obtained. Currently Rice “Perserverancia de Jojutla” sells extra super rice, and brown rice, medium grain rice used to make horchata concentrates, Granillo, Polished rice husks. The company is associated with the Regulatory Council of State Rice Morelos and the Mexican Rice Council B.C.
