Thank you for such a wonderful clip.. I have been so interested in apple farming and i think i should take a trip to this farm. is it okay?

Great advice. I will have to do something on your advice and make sure you see the results i will get.

Good job. Your productivity can be increased by training the branches of the trees to below horizontal as they grow; this will also help keep the height lower as it shifts the tree from vegetative growth mode to fruiting mode. The skinny Anna apples also show the symptoms of lack of pollination, and they probably don't have any seeds inside either; this can be fixed by planting Dorsett Golden apples in between the Anna trees. This will double the yield.

I practice fruit, dairy and bee farming in my rural farm in Yatta, Machakos. Have noticed almost all types of fruits do very well in that area so i was interested in trying out apples. But the info i got was not pleasing until i saw this clip.

Great Job Wambugu!! This world needs people like you who get things done wherever others are sure it will fail. Have been looking for any information on whether apples can grow in Kenya for such a long time without any success from professional institutions yet the answer lies with such a simple but dedicated farmer! So inspiring. Hongera...! keep it up.
