An Introduction to Cabinet Making
Experienced furniture designer and maker Andrew Marsh talks us through the making of a beautiful bespoke wooden cabinet. Andrew adopts traditional furniture making techniques within his work, explaining these terms to us. His love of wood and his passion for his craft is evident, as is his understanding of the various timbers he uses - for different purposes - both aesthetic and practical. http://andrewmaker.com/ An Adliberate film http://www.adliberate.co.uk for WoodlandsTV http://www.woodlands.co.uk/tv

And there I was feeling smug about a shelf I hand planed and oiled to my humble idea of perfection ... that's utterly stunning, the use of materials and craftmanship, as Zed puts it, sublime! I wondered about the guitar reference and the first page of your website gave the game away. I'd be interested to know if you ever created an instrument?
