Amy's Teriyaki Bowl Review: Freezerburns (Ep596)
http://www.freezerburns.com Amy's takes a traditional Japanese dish and makes it their own with organic tofu, brown rice, and broccoli. That may sound great on paper but it means nothing unless it tastes good right? The fact that this meal is vegan, low fat, kosher, low sodium, dairy free, lactose free, soy free, gluten free, corn free, and tree nut free makes it sound like it is tasteless and dry. That's why I am here to tell you what is what! The Frozen Food Master reviews Amy's Teriyaki Bowl. He will tell you how these frozen products looks, smells, and tastes in this episode of Freezerburns. RAMEN!!!! And Udon, but Ramen.....REAL Ramen is awesome :D

The fried rice at Benihana's and other such Japanese teppanyaki & hibachi restaurants is better than any other place I have tried. Simple beef bowls (gyūdon) is a favorite for fast food. Just a bowl of rice topped with thin sliced beef and onion simmered in a mildly sweet sauce flavored with dashi (fish and seaweed stock), soy sauce and mirin (sweet rice wine). Top with beni shōga (pickled ginger) and dig in. Mm!
